The minutes of August 13 were accepted.

Jim has drafted a letter to be sent to owners of lots to see that they are more in compliance with the current rules and regulations of the cemeteries.  Maurine will fine-tune the letter for our next meeting.

We briefly continued the discussion of Mt. Calvary cemetery.

Fertilizer is now needed for the cemeteries.  Jim will check with Lauren at Blue Seal.

Progress has been made on moving the cemetery program to a town computer.  We need to acquire a program to allow remote access, and then HMIS can get the program installed on the town computer.  Doreece will continue checking on this.

Received a request for the placement of a stone at Laurel Hill.  Jim will communicate the payment policy.

Received permission requests from two different parties concerning films being made about the Vale End Cemetery.  Permission has been granted, police will be notified about the activities and given names of parties involved.  We also request that the police check on these activities.

Other Action Items were reviewed and responses delegated.

Monadnock Survey drew up three plans for the layout of new lots at Mt. Calvary.  The trustees prefer plan “A”.

The next meeting will be Monday, October 22, 2007 at the Town Hall Office at 7 PM.
