The Trustees approved the minutes of April 7, 2010

* Discussion Items

1. Trustees met at the Laurel Hill Cemetery for discussion and acclimate the trustees with the cemetery layout.

2. Discussed the replacement of the garage doors at Laurel Hill that houses the lawn equipment. This will be a budget item for next years budget discussion.

3. Would like to have Carl Michaud meet with the Cemetery Trustees at our May 5, 2010 meeting to discuss an area the Cemetery Trustees have picked out for the cremations that have been stored at the funeral home that families have never claimed.

4. Discussed the lawn area in the main section at Laurel Hill where the pine trees were removed. This needs to have loam added, be raked out and reseeded.

5. Met with Gilbert Hargrove about future expansion at Laurel Hill. Gilbert had questions whether the expansion may move closer to his lot line and at this time there is no future expansion at Laurel Hill on the West side.

6. June 3, 2010 meeting in Concord, NH 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for Cemetery Trustees session. Doreece, Brian and Dave will attend.

7. Doreece will be checking with the WLC High School for a clean-up day at the Mount Calvary Cemetery for approximately 3 hours. This will be done on May 15 or May 22 if there is interest. Brian volunteers the use of his pick-up to haul away the old planting debris.

The meeting was continued in the Building Inspector’s office at the town hall.  There is a box of old documents and the Trustees have begun to sort by cemetery.  We endeavor to continue at this at the second meeting each month to file items in an orderly manner.
