The Trustees approved the minutes of April 21, 2010

* Discussion Items
1. Dave submitted three (3) pictures of the Laurel Hill Cemetery. One of damage done by mowers going to fast, two of lawn area that needs to be loomed and reseeded where trees were removed.

2. Peggy Arn will print out cemetery budget sheet for the Trustees on a monthly basis.

3. Trustees discussed damage to the Ouellette graves.  Cemetery crew was instructed to slow down and to not get so close to the grave stones.

4. Discussion on drafting a letter of appreciation to inform the Cemetery crew that they are doing a great job.

5. Brian & Doreece will look into soil testing for the Laurel Hill Cemetery. This will take place in the fall.

6. Final payment was submitted to Medlyn Monument for the work that was completed at Vale End and South Yard Cemeteries in 2009.

7. Brian will be installing cornerstones, when the town is asked to do so. A $50 charge for installation of four (4) cornerstones will be accessed.

8. Water is now turned on in Mount Calvary, Laurel Hill and Vale End.  There is no water in South Yard.

9. Doreece will contact Dick at Intervale Machinery and Supply Inc. to ask that bills for supplies purchased by the cemetery crew will be listed as Cemetery and not be included with the highway total. This will keep purchases separated for the department’s budget.

10. Trustees would like to thank Brian for fixing the gate that is within in the fence line at Laurel Hill. Job Well Done!

Next meeting May 19, 2010 @ 7 pm –meet at Vale End Cemetery and reconvene later at the town office.
