The Trustees approved the minutes of Oct 4, 2010
* Discussion Items
• Discussion on the water bill. Doreece will go to the water department meeting and question the bill on October 27 @ 7 p.m.
• Discussion on the bagger for the new Xmark mower. Brian got a quote of what a new bagger would cost and would like to run in by the selectman this year. Due to an increase to 8-9% of the cost for the bagger next year.
• Discussion of the oiling of roads in South Yard, Vale End and Laurel Hill. A price was given of $10,000 from All State Asphalt. Brian felt the roads weren’t in condition to receive the oil application due to the large cracks and small moving pieces of asphalt. It was agreed that the asphalt would shift after the oil was applied, therefore, it would put us back to the beginning.
• Brian will look at roads in Laurel Hill to get an idea of cost to bring before the budget committee of paving certain road, area or sections each year. Possibly a 5 year plan. Brian will also look at Vale End cemetery to obtain estimates where the road circles to re-grade and pave and to see why the road is sinking in that area.
• Discussion on a letter received from Frances “Lou” Gros Louis looking for information relative to the disposition of their lot at Mt. Calvary.
• Discussion on letter received from Linda Garfield requesting that a flat marker be placed on her mother, Betty Theriault, grave. This can be done. There is a $50 charge to install the marker.
Next meeting November 3, 2010 @ Town Hall - 7 pm.
