The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM. In attendance were Stan Young, Robert Chouinard, Phyllis Tallarico and Corinne Blagbrough.
The first 40 minutes of the meeting were devoted to reviewing the list of addresses for those homes that would qualify for house plaques. These are pre-1800 homes. There are 55 of these that have been identified. Mrs. Chouinard has agreed to work on the preparation of letters to the owners of these homes to inform that they may order a plaque. These will be sent out in February.
Stan informed the committee that the situation with the Four Corner Farm has not yet been resolved. Stephen Moheban, the owner of the property is still working out the details of putting the land into conservation and regulating the use of the buildings. Eventually, the Heritage Commission will oversee the exterior of the buildings.
During the remainder of the meeting the natural resource inventory was
discussed. When a final list has been compiled, we will send a list to
Spencer Brooks at the Conservation Commission.
