HERITAGE COMMISSION
April 27, 2004

The meeting was called to order at 7:33 by Michael Dell’Orto, substituting for Chairman Stanley Young. Those in attendance were Robert Chouinard, Corinne Blagbrough, Gail Hoar, and Phyllis Tallarico and newly elected selectman Dan Donavan.

The secretary’s report was read and accepted.

There was no treasurer’s report.

The House Plaques have arrived. Stan Young is on vacation so other members of the commission have not yet seen them. Michael will be planning publicity with Jesse Salisbury, reporter for the Nashua Telegraph. She will take pictures and write the article when the Town Hall plaque is presented to selectmen in the near future.

Michael is working with David Provost to plan a time when the commission members can view both the interior and exterior of the Four Corners Farm. The purpose is to see if there is anything of historic value that the commission would want to protect.

Stan and Mike spoke with Tony Lynch regarding our computer needs. Michael reported that he has not yet discussed Brian Bart’s computer proposal with Andy Roeper.

The commission has learned that Brenda Lind has authored a booklet entitled Conserving Your Land. Michael suggested that the commission purchase ten of these booklets to give to Wilton residents who are interested in this topic. After discussion, members decided to buy five of these booklets at a cost of $20.

Robert A. Chouinard; Secretary
