The treasurer reported that we have $261.60 in our private account. This revenue comes from the nineteen signs that have been purchased by the owners of historic homes. Orders for three more plaques have just been placed.
On June 2, at 7 PM in the Town Hall Courtroom, Stan will present the plaque for Town Hall to one of the selectmen.
Mike suggested that now that our roadside plaques have been delayed indefinitely, it would behoove us to have our own signs made and installed. He suggested we start off with the Town Pound sign and use our allotted funds.
Stan is still waiting for the list from David Vincent on the houses built between 1800-1850.
Considering the difficulty the commission is having recruiting new members and officers, it will be necessary to review our by-laws to see if we are still compliant or if they will need to be amended to reflect this situation.
Andy Roeper suggested we purchase off the shelf computer equipment to use for our inventory of homes and information. Mike will follow up on what equipment is appropriate and report back in June.
Mike will also check with Spencer Brooks of the Conservation Commission regarding what is involved when buying conservation land.
Stan announced that NH Heritage Project Fair will be held on May 27, 2004 from 8:30 AM to 3 PM at the Hartman Union Building at Plymouth State University.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:50.
