The meeting was called to order at 7:30. Members present were Corinne Blagbrough, Robert Chouinard, Michael Dell Orto, Stanley Young, and Phyllis Tallarico.
The treasurer reported that no money has been spent so that the balance is the same as previously reported.
Stan reported that he is still awaiting more information regarding the Four Corners Farm on top of Abbot Hill Road. This information will include the amount of the LCHIP grant, who will own the farm, how it will be used and what will be done with the funds that are currently being raised. We also want to know who will oversee the conservation land.
Commission members discussed sending a letter to the new owners of the Good News Bible Church. This letter will express our willingness to offer any conservation information regarding the church.
Stanley noted that he has ordered a plaque for his own house. He plans to bring this to the September Meeting for the board to see. Purchasing a similar plaque for the Library or Town Hall was discussed so owners of historical homes may see what is available to purchase for their own residence.
It was a unanimous decision to cancel the August meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30.
