1) Recycling Manager Maurice Guay asked the Board if they would approve his moving the old bailer to another building to be used for tin and aluminum. They agreed that this would be an acceptable use.
2) Lynne Draper and Spencer Brookes attended the meeting to discuss a land donation. The person that was going to donate some land informed them that they are now looking into the possibility of a Conservation Easement. Lynne and Spencer informed the Board that they would not be in favor of the easement because of the restrictions of access to the land. After a discussion of the pros and cons of ownership vs. an easement, it was agreed by all that the town would have to reconsider an easement but would accept the donation of the land to the town. They will keep the Board informed of the decision.
3) The Board discussed the vacancy of a Wilton Resident on the Ambulance Board. They decided that a note would be put on the web site asking for interested persons.
4) Chairman Donovan signed three applications to the Department of Transportation for preliminary estimates of bridge aid for three red listed bridges in Wilton.
5) The bills and payroll for the week ending November 18, 2006 were reviewed and approved.
6) The correspondence and informational material was reviewed.
The meeting was adjourned on a motion at 7:55, with all in favor.
Respectfully submitted;
Peggy Arn, Recording Secretary
