Richard Rockwood and Recording Secretary Peggy Arn
1) At 7:00 pm Chairman Donovan opened the Public Hearing. He asked
if there was any public comments on the town accepting a Conservation Easement
from Elizabeth Dunn on Map D Lot 054. Attorney William Keefe stated
that he was at the hearing on behalf of Ms. Dunn, as well as her two grandsons,
Mathew and Andrew Dunn, to answer any questions that might be raised concerning
the easement. He presented the Board an original Easement for their
signatures. Selectman Greene made the following motion:
Attorney Keefe stated that the easement would be recorded at the
Hillsborough Registry of Deeds tomorrow. The Board issued a letter
of thanks to Ms. Dunn for the gift of the easement to the town.
2) Mr. Lynch of the Wilton Lyndeborough School Board attended the meeting to ask if the Board or Town would be interested in taking over the road that goes to the High School. The Board stated that they would not. He then asked if the Town Highway Department could be asked to bid on road repairs that will be going out to bid in the spring. He was informed that they could.
3) The Board reviewed a letter from a Wilton Resident concerning problems with Comcast Cable Company. The letter will be forwarded to Comcast and a letter to the resident with a copy of a letter about their customer services.
4) Bill Carnduff and Paul Jordan of the Wilton/Lyndeborough/Temple Ambulance Association attended the meeting. All the documents that had been drawn up Town Attorney Little, after meeting with representatives from the three member towns and the Ambulance Board, were signed by the Board of Selectmen and the Ambulance Board Co-Chairman and Treasurer. The agreements were for services for a trial period of one year, lease Agreement for the Ambulance Bay and to be the recipient of the Cash Receipts due the Ambulance Association. The payroll and the accounts payable are also to be done by town office staff.
5) Two Veteran’s Exemption applications were reviewed and signed.
6) One Intent to Cut Timber was reviewed and signed.
7) Chairman Donovan signed a contract to have the annual audit performed by Plodzik and Sanderson.
8) The informational material was reviewed.
9) Chairman Donovan signed a thank you letter to Hubert Hoover for his Conservation Easement to the Town of Wilton.
The meeting was adjourned on a motion, with all in favor at 8:40 pm.
