TOWN OF WILTON
SELECTMEN’S MINUTES

Date:  December 3, 2007
Time:  7:00 pm
Place:  Town Office
Present: Selectmen Jerry Greene, Richard Rockwood and Daniel Donovan, III and Recording Secretary Peggy Arn

1) Ambulance Director Carylyn McEntee attended the meeting to discuss the Ambulance Operations.  Issues discussed were the maintenance of the ambulances, where the ambulances are serviced and other ambulance related issues.  Selectman Rockwood suggested that local service stations be contacted for prices for service.
Selectman Donovan stated that he would like to have documentation of the basis of why there is a need for a new ambulance at this time.

At 7:15, Selectman Greene made a motion to adjourn the regular meeting and call a non-public per RSA 91-A:3,II(a).  The regular meeting was called to order at
8:00 pm.
 
2) MOTION:  Selectman Donovan made a motion to grant an abatement of taxes to the Wilton Main Street Association for Lot J-048 on Main Street.  The motion was seconded by Selectman Rockwood.  The motion was passed with two yea and one abstention vote.

3) The Board reviewed the letters of  recommendation for “Citizen of the Year”.  After a discussion of the candidates and their work for the town,

MOTION:  Selectman Rockwood made a motion that the award be given to Dawn Tuomala for the work and time she has given to the WJAA Carnival Hill project and the Main Street Sidewalk Project.  The motion was seconded by Selectman Donovan.
The motion was passed unanimously.

4) The Board reviewed and approved pole licenses requests from PSNH.

5) The Sales Ratio Survey  2007 Equalization Municipal Assessment Data Sheets Certificate was reviewed and signed by the Selectmen.

6) The bills and payroll were reviewed and approved for the week ending December 1, 2007.  The correspondence and informational material was reviewed.

The meeting was adjourned on a motion at 8:30 pm.
