Minutes of 10 January 2005 Meeting

WCC opened at 7:10 PM in the Town Hall Courtroom to conduct its monthly meeting. Members:  Lynne, Les, Spencer, and Alan.  Laurence absent.

• Minutes of Nov 8th, Dec 13th, and Dec 20th, 2004 were approved.
• Budget Review – Discussion about budget for 2005 which will be presented to Budget Committee on Jan. 18th.  Operating Budget request will include the NRI.
o Operating Budget - $7,580.00
o Frog Pond Purchase, Dam Update, and Purchase Costs - $170,000.00
o Open Space Bond Issue - $1,500,000.00
Approved by all.
• Town Meeting –
o Warrant articles for Open Space Bond and Frog Pond are being readied for selectmen.  Concepts approved.
o Bond Issue – Lynne is getting facts about costs and other citizen questions.
• ZBA Meeting December 14th suggested actions:
o Lot C-99-1,-2:  Concerned about runoff and small lot. Send letter to that extent.  Approved by all.
o Lot F-129:  Corridor # 13 and possible conservation easement.
• Town Report Letter - Lynne has completed the letter.
• Frog Pond – Frog Pond Workshop # One
Scheduled for January 25, 2005 @ 7:30 PM, Town Hall – Wilton, NH
Goals:
1. To familiarize neighbors, and citizens of the purchase by the town of the Frog Pond.
2. To review property location
3. To present the importance of the land to the Carnival Hill site and the proposed Milford Conservation land.
4. To work with abutters to address lot line adjustments.
5. To work with abutter to address right of ways.
6. To present the conceptual plans of the WCC to restore the dam.
7. To set up a method for getting out the information for town meeting support.
• Trails – Mapping for NRI.  Potential contacts:  Frank Mitchell, Andy LeFrancios, Keith Badger, Andy Roeper, were suggested.
• Animal Habitat – Vernal Pools for NRI.
• Adjourned at 9:20 PM.  Next meeting Feb 14th.
