Minutes of MEETING -- Draft
MONDAY – 11 JUNE 2007 – 7:00 PM

The Wilton Conservation Commission held its regular monthly meeting on Monday, 11 JUNE 2007, at 7:00 PM at the Town Hall Courtroom. All members present. A number of items in this report were agreed on by consensus.   Any measure where a vote was taken is noted by standard motion procedures.

Discussion items and any actions taken on the Agenda were as follows:

• Letterhead - should not have backpacker address and change Laurence’s email address as noted above.
• Budget & Expenditures – Need monthly report from office.
• Open Lands concept and efforts by Laurence will be on the next meeting agenda.
• Future Land Use Policies future discussion (See Flooding & Storm Water Issues below)
• Conservation Plan future discussion.
• Land Monitoring

• ZBA – Reviewed minutes and agenda
               H-124-2, Poisson Land,  Laurence made the motion not to recommend the proposed wetland crossing because it is over 2350 sq. ft to reach back lot as
               well as the additional wetlands on the back lot properties.  Seconded by Les.  Alan abstained other supported the motion.
• Planning Board –  Review last month minutes; and upcoming meeting agenda of 20 June
            L-28, Harwood land, was approved by Planning Board and a trail easement is included in the subdivision along the Souhegan River...
            D-84-2, D-84 Deed research needs to be done and ready for next meeting.
• Water Department Forest Harvesting – Route 31, F 173, F – 158 needs to be investigated.
            Flooding and Storm Water Issues –
            Main Street Parking Lot  and Rideout Road & Captain Clark – Highway Dept. Grant
            Motion to start an open discussion with towns boards, because of recent storms, designs should take into consideration frequency should be higher review
            of slope/grades in different districts. Made by Alan, second by Les, approved by all.
• Violations & Complaints – A&T Forest Products; Richards; Excessive Vehicles on Properties, F-170,
            Consensus to investigate that status of Selectmen’s actions and needs to be reported at next meeting by Lynne.
• McKay Dredge & Fill Request – Consensus to continue observations and recording of activities and contact the DES of the recent activities.
• Provost Trust Subdivision – No Discussion
• Westview Farms – 29 unit subdivision - Consensus to continue reviewing by WCC.
• Wilton-Temple Community Farm, New Land on Abbot Hill Road – Consensus is for Lynne to continue working with the farm and selectmen of this
            easement.
• Local Open Space – Updates and Discussion;(See above location for next month’s meeting)
• Route 31 South Easement – marking of boundary will be done before next meeting and check status of easement.
• Fox Howe Easement –
• Hoover Easement – WCC recommended Mr. Hoover hire a wetland specialist to delineate buildable area on the easement property which will have the least impact to the wetlands before a building permit is issued motion made by Spencer, and Lynne seconded.   All in favor.
• McGettigan Easement – Consensus to continue communications with family about the easement.
• Frog Pond –
            Dam update project - No action at this time.
            Consensus to continue checking status of Milford ownership
• Carnival Hill –
            Boy Scout Eagle Project – Alan is working on that.
            Community Gardens Request – No action
• Four Corners Farm – Consensus for Spencer will check on the measurement of building and we need a letter from Heritage Commission relative to the status of
            their view of the silo situation.
• Burns Hill Road Town Forest –Consensus to approve the concept of a sign on the property.
• Wegener Memorial Woods on Potter Road – no action
• Rideout land 40 acres of Rideout Bird Watching --- Tax report 1960’s F 156 88 acres??? Society land
• NiSoHiLa -- NH Forest Legacy 2007 Application –
