The Wilton Conservation Commission held its regular meeting on Monday, 13 August 2007, at 7:00 PM at the Town Hall Courtroom. Lynne, Alan, and Spencer were present. Jessie Salisbury, Bart Hunter, and Bill Mahar were also present. A number of items in this report were agreed on by consensus. Any measure where a vote was taken is noted by standard motion procedures.

getting monthly reports.

Discussion about Hillside project (D84)
Landowners are requesting a private way with a
wetland crossing.
Neighbors were concerned about no provisions for
mitigate run-off for the logging operations which caused considerable damage
to the property.
Spencer will check on logging permit status and
potential discussion with County Forester.
Firepond needs and safety of pond for abutters.

Perham Woods, formerly Westview Farms B20 Update/Status,

First Light Farms F95-02,03,07,13,14,15 22 units,
we need to explore information about the Clear Solutions Septic system.
Natural Resources Inventory (NRI) Spencer talked with Dave McGraw
and we can expect materials to review by end of August.
Water Department Forest Harvesting (Route 31 S) Loam on Route 31
is available for Frog Pond.
Flooding and Stormwater Issues Main Street Parking Lot.; Rideout
Rd/Captain Clark Rd. Authorize Spencer to write a letter when Steve

Open Lands Laurence and Lynne are working on the letter, and book
purchase and will continue the process of getting the materials out to
the landowners.

Wilton-Temple Community Farm, New Land on
Abbot Hill Road Easement Lynne has been in contact with the principal
players in the easement. Spencer is working on the Base-Line document
McGettigan Easement, Spencer will discuss with
Brenda Lind of Society email of July 25.
Route 31 South Easement need to have property
marker signs place on the property.
Fox Howe Easement need to have property marker
signs place on the property.
Frog Pond Update; Dam Project Progress
Lynne makes the motion seconded by Alan to pay
$1672.50, Dated August 8th, Invoice # 29993 From Meridian
Land Service Inc.
Alan did a site visit with no flow and brush is
50% less than last year but will need services in the fall.
Gate on Rockwell property has been removed and
needs to be put back by Rockwell.
Field has been mowed.
Lynne read the letter from Dam Bureau relative
new fees and will refer this letter to Chad at Meridian. The yearly
dam fees has increased from $100 to $400 yearly fee payable at the end
of the year.
Carnival Hill Update, no action on Eagle Scout Project.
Four Corners Farm Update; Silo removal is expected to be approved
and done.
Burns Hill Road Town Forest Update; Signage will check pricing
on signage for consideration.
