The Wilton Conservation Commission held a public hearing on Monday, 21 December 2007, from 7:00 to  8:00 PM at the Town Hall Courtroom.  Les, Alan, Lynn, & Spencer were the members present.  Members of the public included Charles McGettigan, Jr., James McGettigan, Kenneth McGettigan, Eleanor McGettigan and William Mahar.

WCC meeting was held after the public hearing.  With WCC members and others as noted above present at the meeting.

A motion was made by Alan and Seconded by Les to pay out monies from the Land Acquisition Fund (NHPDIP) in the amount of Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00) payable to land owners or landowners designee and for the town to accept an executory interest in a conservation easement consisting of approximately 141 acres, situated on McGettigan Road in the Town of Wilton, County of Hillsborough, State of New Hampshire, and requesting the Selectmen to sign the appropriate documents.  The action will result in the Town of Wilton holding an executory interest in the conservation easement to be held by Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests on said land.
