Minutes – December 27, 2006
MOTION:  Herlihy/McGettigan to approve 12/27/06 minutes as written. All in favor.

CEI Related Info: Bill was received from Guilford RR for Second River Crossing. Treatment swales project on Route 31 S. is on hold for a year in order to apply for a wellhead protection delineation grant from DES.

Pennichuck (PWW): Mr. McGettigan will stay in touch with Bernie regarding the amount of potassium hydroxide being used at the pump house. He will also discuss the prices of chlorine tabs with Bernie and make a decision as to who will purchase them next time.

Reduced Salt Use: Mr. Herlihy drafted a letter, which the other Commissioners approved, that Mr. McGettigan will hand-deliver to the Wilton police chief, fire chief, the Lyndeborough/Wilton/Temple Ambulance, the Superintendent of Schools and the Wilton Selectmen. The letter asks each representative to sign the letter supporting low salt usage on Route 31 South near the Wilton municipal wells. Mr. McGettigan will then mail the signed letters with a cover letter to Douglas Graham, District Engineer Division 4, Swanzey, NH.
